Mike Barry, founder and former CEO of People Advocating Recovery (PAR), passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

A former news anchor at LEX 18 in Lexington, Kentucky, Mike's career in radio and television spanned more than 45 years. (I grew up watching him.)

Mike was a close friend, business associate and client. He was even in my wedding. More importantly he was a great person who cared deeply about helping others.

In addition to PAR, Mike was also heavily involved with The Healing Place, the Louisville Recovery Community Connection (LRCC) and numerous other organizations. 

He will be greatly missed by many and his impact will be felt for years to come.
